Special Easter Services Entice New Church Visitors

To welcome new guests to Easter Sunday services, churches use direct mail campaigns, highlighting special events and encouraging visitors to join in worship.

Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) February 6, 2007 – Easter is a religious holiday that is celebrated to commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  One of the most popular times for people to attend church is Easter Sunday.  Online polls have shown that church attendance rises 25% on Easter Sunday.  Even those who do not regularly attend worship services visit churches on Easter.

“Churches have a couple of major opportunities each year to attract to new visitors.  Easter is a significant one!” says Don Peavey, representative of Churchmax.com ( http://www.ChurchMax.com ), a church marketing and promotions company based in Dallas, Texas.

Because many people do not have a place of worship they regularly attend, they are faced with a decision every Easter about which church to visit.  Churches use this unique opportunity to reach out to potential visitors in many ways.

ChurchMax.com manages direct mail campaigns every year for different churches nationwide.  The Church Max team creates church direct mail postcards that highlight special Easter events such as guest music composers, singers, Easter plays and musicals, a sunrise service or the Lord’s Supper.  Church marketing and advertising such as church direct mail campaigns have proven to be very effective and increase attendance, as well as encourage visitors to return to join in worship.

ChurchMax.com can also produce church bulletins that include a tear-off sheet for guests to fill out their name and address and simply place in the offering plate.  This information can be used to address future direct mail postcards, such as a warm thank you note encouraging vistors to return for a second Sunday.  Informing visitors about upcoming events also reaches out and helps them unite with the church family.

“A well-designed and timely direct mail postcard promoting special events and services is a great way to encourage people to visit your church,” Peavey states.

Church marketing can bring in new guests and aid in church growth.  Church Max has been managing church advertising for over a decade.
